NDIS Registered · Warners Bay · Newcastle & Hunter
Specialised 1:1 mobile physiotherapy for NDIS and iCARE participants across Newcastle, the Hunter and the Central Coast. Supporting you to achieve your full potential.
Mike Broadbent grew up in Tamworth, NSW — country roots that shaped a straightforward, no-fuss approach to care. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and a Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney, then cut his teeth as a sports physiotherapist with elite rugby clubs in Sydney.
With 13 years of clinical experience across private practice, sports, musculoskeletal and disability, Mike has been working in the Newcastle area since 2020. He has firsthand experience in disability — his brother suffered a traumatic brain injury — and that personal connection drives everything Broad-Ability does.
Mike has a particular interest in supporting neurological and complex neurodegenerative conditions including stroke recovery, acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. He works with people of all ages and is passionate about helping participants achieve their optimal mobility and live active, healthy lives.
